Recently refurbished this 2 bedroom cottage is situated on the North Coast 500 route in Charleston, Gairloch, Ross Shire. Overlooking Flowerdale Bay this beautiful cottage is in the perfect location to take advantage of all the local area has to offer. There is off road parking, a spacious garden, a good size decking area so you can sit outdoors and enjoy the views, also just around the corner another seating area to catch the evening sun.

The cottage is none smoking, dog friendly and can accommodate 4 residents.

Kitchen

This very well equipped kitchen will cater to all your needs, with a lavazza modo mio coffee pod machine to air fryer, try the slow cooker if you are out hill walking for the day, also offering plenty of freeze and fridge space, dishwasher, fan oven, separate grill and ceramic hob top and microwave, kettle and toaster and many other helpful kitchen utensils.

Bedrooms

Bedroom 1 : is a nice size with a king-size bed and stunning views of the bay. Bedroom 2 : is a nice size with a super king bed or twin beds All good quality bedding is provided to give you luxury and comfort to help enjoy your stay, all with spring and memory foam top mattresses.

Bathroom

The bathroom : features a separate walk in shower cubical with a good air boost shower. You can also relax in the bath with some bubbles after your day out. All good quality Egyptian cotton towels are provided.

Livingroom

Chill out on the comfy sofas, watch all your favourite channels on the smart tv, or the free sat box, also take a look at the dvd collection, even read a book. With a great wifi service and speed as a bonus. Focal point of the optimist electric stove makes for a cosy evening. In the corner is a dining table for 4 to enjoy your meals or great for board games with the kids.

Utility

Here you will find a washing machine and separate tumble dryer, there is also a rotary washing line outside and a cloths airer in the hall way cupboard should you wish to use them. The utility room also has dog bowls and towels in case you have forgot yours.

Decking

Relax on the decking with a coffee or glass of wine and enjoy the scenery of Flowerdale bay, hill tops and mountain view. Even dine out side and cook from the BBQ around the corner and other seating area to catch the evening sun.

To book or for any enquiries please email us, or call. Deposits are 25 % when booking is made and balance payments are due 6 weeks before your stay. Payments are made by bank transfer. Availability and costs will be given by email.

THE COTTAGE

Sunnyside is none smoking/vape. 2 well behaved dogs are allowed and we ask that they do not get on the sofas or beds, also not left in the property unattended. Electric costs are included as is the broadband. Sorry no car charging at the cottage but this is available just below in the harbour car park.

Self catering cottage in Gairloch, Highlands of Scotland, recently refurbished and modernized this 2 bedroom cottage will stand out, very well equipped to help you enjoy your stay also with a secure garden as pet friendly and off road parking, looking on to Flowerdale bay with stunning views.

GAIRLOCH, FROM YOUR DOOR

A short walk will take you along to the harbour where you will find the post office, convenient store (for anything you have forgotten !) next a gallery, gift shop, cafe or book activities such as paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, sailing, whale watching, wildlife trips and glass bottom boat. Also close by a local hotel with bar and restaurant and just along the road, golf course, cafe and beach, There are plenty of good walks in the surrounding area with the Glen just on your door step. Further along the road you will find the coastal village with more hotels, restaurants cafe's, shops, beaches and lots more to explore.

GAIRLOCH, EATING OUT

With lots of places to eat in the area, I guess you will be trying the local seafood. Many hotels offering evening meals to cafes with a great variety you will not be stuck also a lot are dog friendly so no one is left out. A folder in cottage will give you an example of the menus'

GAIRLOCH, THINGS TO DO PLACES TO GO

There are many places to visit and more things to do. Shieldaig lodge for falconry and kayaking, Badachro for bike hire, Red Point for Pony Trekking on the beach is a must. A shell fish safari boat trip to catch your own. Poolewe, Cove, Inverewe gardens, Grunyard bay the gorge on the way to Ullapool. or head the other way to loch Maree, Torridon's, Applecross, from mountains and Munros, to beaches and lochs, wildlife and the scenery, you might have to come back.

Booking and Paying for your holiday

I will confirm the availability and cost when you enquire. I will send out an information required form. A deposit of 25% of the full cost is payable on booking. A confirmation and deposit form will then be sent out. The balance is due six weeks prior to the first day of the holiday. A balance due email will be sent followed by an arrival details and balance received email.
When a booking is made less than six weeks before arrival, the full cost of the holiday is payable immediately. Payment can be made by bank transfer or cheque.

Damage Policy

If any accidental damage occurs you must report it to myself as soon as possible. It will be necessary for myself or trade person to enter the cottage to carry out repairs. Depending on the damage or repair a cost may be involved to cover the damage done.

Pets are not to be left in the cottage unattended and they must not be allowed on the beds or furniture.

Cancellations

If you cancel a confirmed booking, I will endeavour to re-let the cottage. If the cottage is re-let I will refund any monies which have been paid by you, less a cancellation charge of £25.00 per week booked. If I am unable to re-let the cottage, there shall be no obligation on my part to repay any monies paid.
It is recommended that you take out holiday cancellation insurance to cover the cost of your holiday. use a recommended insurance broker.

General

The number of persons occupying the cottage must not exceed the maximum level stated of 4. The cottage is equipped to cater for 4 and includes all bedding and towels. The cottage is cleaned thoroughly between each let, However as only a limited period of time is available to clean, it is a condition that you leave the property and its contents as you find it.
The cottage owner shall not be liable for damage, loss or injury to your party or possessions however caused.
